Lora Lantz | Practices for Mindful Living

“Ah, where do I start with this lovely lady! I’ve been taking Lora’s yoga class now for several years, and I absolutely adore her teaching style! She incorporates the perfect balance of stillness and calmness in her classes, with the intensity of an advanced vinyasa flow yoga class. I always come out of the class feeling so much more opened and renewed, and ready to tackle the day!

I also appreciate how she paces the class, it’s not too slow, and not too fast, and I always get a good sweat. She is sure to warm us up in the beginning of class and cool us down as well. And I really love her calming voice…

Lora is also very hands on which I love. I love when she comes over and basically give me a little mini compression massage when I’m in a pose such as pigeon. It really helps me to open up even more fully and deeply. I highly recommend Lora class to all vinyasa yoga lovers out there!

I know that yoga is my own practice and I get what I give to the moment. With that said, Lora is one of the most brilliant, knowledgeable, graceful, gifted guides I have ever been blessed to meet at the mat. My body and spirit has changed since meeting her. She has such a calm, stoic, and compassionate presence and this comes through in her teaching. She is firm, fluid, and forgiving in her channeled flow. Her classes are just as intense as they are calm, exactly as her spirit. Her breath is like being at the ocean it is deep and penetrates the whole room (in my very first classes with her, I thought it was coming from the music). Lora creates a safe inspiring space and momentum that will change your day, your perspective, and your way of life.

I couldn’t speak more highly of this lovely woman or be more grateful for her presence and constant gift. I will follow her to where ever she teaches! Her teachings are a rare gem in the city!”

“I am pleased to write this recommendation for Lora Lantz as a Yoga Teacher/Instructor. I came to know her through Corepower as the Manager of both locations here in Colorado Springs. I quickly grasped onto my practice and submerged myself into various Training programs with Lora’s gentle guidance and support. First, Yogi Training in 2009. Then, to understand more about my practice and yoga itself, I then enrolled in Teacher Training programs for Power Yoga & Hot Power Fusion Yoga, all within a 1 year period. All of which were under Lora’s direction.

Throughout the past 5 years of practicing at CorePower, I took many of Lora’s level 2 classes as well as Yoga in the Park sessions (summer). It is clear that her many years of teaching shines through her guidance. I’ve since followed her to cambio. yoga, where I now practice. She is a very likeable instructor/teacher because of her knowledge and patience in seeing her students succeed with anything they attempt in their practice. Her clear and concise instruction actually made me feel like I was hearing it from a close friend casually versus actual instruction in a ‘classroom’.

She is an articulate, receptive, and welcoming yogi. She makes you feel at ease and I’ve never felt like I was being “talked AT” but more ‘spoken to’ in her classes. Her smile and sincere attentiveness are truly warming. She truly is an inspiration.”

“Thanks so much again for meeting with me this morning! I’m not even kidding you when I say that my leg/butt was so much less painful today than it has been all week. I did a bunch of driving today, and had a long lunch/coffee date with a friend, and would have normally been miserable, but I stayed relatively comfortable thru it all. I’m super excited to see where I go with the things you’ve taught me! Thank you thank you!”
